HOMEFRONT PRODUCTIONS is a Scotland-based independent film company founded by producer Danny Page. The company drew international attention with CALIFORNIA SCHEMIN’, James McAvoy's directorial debut, which premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival and was released in UK cinemas by StudioCanal in April 2026, with a US theatrical release to follow this October. Homefront returns to TIFF this year with FAITH, starring James McAvoy and Erin Doherty, directed by Paul Andrew Williams. The company produces and co-finances features spanning local stories and large-scale international productions, championing distinctive voices for a global audience.


Danny Page is a UK-based producer and independent filmmaker, founder of Homefront Productions, a company dedicated to bringing bold, authentic stories to the screen. He is the lead producer of California Schemin’, James McAvoy’s directorial debut, set to release in UK cinemas on 10 April 2026, and is in production on the supernatural thriller Faith, starring Erin Doherty and James McAvoy. Danny also serves part-time as Head of Pictures at Blazing Griffin.
Danny began his producing career with the critically acclaimed short Eleven, which won multiple awards and established his voice as a distinctive emerging talent. He has since produced a range of internationally recognized films, including Line of Descent (starring Brendan Fraser) and Farida: The Girl Who Fought ISIS, alongside veteran producer Lloyd Levin (United 93, Watchmen).
Dedicated to bringing bold, authentic stories to the screen, Danny combines a hands-on producing style with a focus on both independent cinema and large-scale studio-level projects. He has collaborated with companies including Patriot Pictures, Endemol, and Skydance, helping develop and produce high-impact narrative projects across global markets.
